1. Paṭhamavaggo

296. ‘‘Ekadhammo , bhikkhave, bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṃvattati. Katamo ekadhammo? Buddhānussati. Ayaṃ kho, bhikkhave, ekadhammo bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṃvattatī’’ti.

297. ‘‘Ekadhammo, bhikkhave, bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṃvattati. Katamo ekadhammo? Dhammānussati…pe… saṅghānussati… sīlānussati… cāgānussati… devatānussati… ānāpānassati… maraṇassati… kāyagatāsati… upasamānussati. Ayaṃ kho, bhikkhave, ekadhammo bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṃvattatī’’ti.

2. Dutiyavaggo

298. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā akusalā dhammā uppajjanti uppannā vā akusalā dhammā bhiyyobhāvāya vepullāya saṃvattanti yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, micchādiṭṭhi. Micchādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, anuppannā ceva akusalā dhammā uppajjanti uppannā ca akusalā dhammā bhiyyobhāvāya vepullāya saṃvattantī’’ti.

299. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā kusalā dhammā uppajjanti uppannā vā kusalā dhammā bhiyyobhāvāya vepullāya saṃvattanti yathayidaṃ , bhikkhave, sammādiṭṭhi. Sammādiṭṭhikassa , bhikkhave, anuppannā ceva kusalā dhammā uppajjanti uppannā ca kusalā dhammā bhiyyobhāvāya vepullāya saṃvattantī’’ti.

300. ‘‘Nāhaṃ , bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā kusalā dhammā nuppajjanti uppannā vā kusalā dhammā parihāyanti yathayidaṃ , bhikkhave, micchādiṭṭhi. Micchādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, anuppannā ceva kusalā dhammā nuppajjanti uppannā ca kusalā dhammā parihāyantī’’ti.

301. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā akusalā dhammā nuppajjanti uppannā vā akusalā dhammā parihāyanti yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, sammādiṭṭhi. Sammādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, anuppannā ceva akusalā dhammā nuppajjanti uppannā ca akusalā dhammā parihāyantī’’ti.

302. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā micchādiṭṭhi uppajjati uppannā vā micchādiṭṭhi pavaḍḍhati yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, ayonisomanasikāro. Ayoniso, bhikkhave, manasi karoto anuppannā ceva micchādiṭṭhi uppajjati uppannā ca micchādiṭṭhi pavaḍḍhatī’’ti.

303. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena anuppannā vā sammādiṭṭhi uppajjati uppannā vā sammādiṭṭhi pavaḍḍhati yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, yonisomanasikāro. Yoniso, bhikkhave, manasi karoto anuppannā ceva sammādiṭṭhi uppajjati uppannā ca sammādiṭṭhi pavaḍḍhatī’’ti.

304. ‘‘Nāhaṃ , bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena [yenevaṃ (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)] sattā kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjanti yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, micchādiṭṭhi. Micchādiṭṭhiyā, bhikkhave, samannāgatā sattā kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjantī’’ti.

305. ‘‘Nāhaṃ , bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yena sattā kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjanti yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, sammādiṭṭhi. Sammādiṭṭhiyā, bhikkhave, samannāgatā sattā kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapajjantī’’ti.

第一品
"诸比丘,有一法,若修习、多修,则导向彻底厌离、离欲、灭尽、寂静、证知、正觉、涅槃。是何一法?忆念佛陀。诸比丘,此一法若修习、多修,则导向彻底厌离、离欲、灭尽、寂静、证知、正觉、涅槃。"
"诸比丘,有一法,若修习、多修,则导向彻底厌离、离欲、灭尽、寂静、证知、正觉、涅槃。是何一法?忆念法...忆念僧...忆念戒...忆念舍...忆念天...念入出息...念死...念身...忆念寂静。诸比丘,此一法若修习、多修,则导向彻底厌离、离欲、灭尽、寂静、证知、正觉、涅槃。"

第二品
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的不善法生起,已生的不善法增长广大,如同此法,诸比丘,即邪见。诸比丘,对于邪见者,未生的不善法生起,已生的不善法增长广大。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的善法生起,已生的善法增长广大,如同此法,诸比丘,即正见。诸比丘,对于正见者,未生的善法生起,已生的善法增长广大。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的善法不生,已生的善法衰减,如同此法,诸比丘,即邪见。诸比丘,对于邪见者,未生的善法不生,已生的善法衰减。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的不善法不生,已生的不善法衰减,如同此法,诸比丘,即正见。诸比丘,对于正见者,未生的不善法不生,已生的不善法衰减。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的邪见生起,已生的邪见增长,如同此法,诸比丘,即不如理作意。诸比丘,不如理作意者,未生的邪见生起,已生的邪见增长。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使未生的正见生起,已生的正见增长,如同此法,诸比丘,即如理作意。诸比丘,如理作意者,未生的正见生起,已生的正见增长。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使众生身坏命终后,生于恶趣、恶道、堕处、地狱,如同此法,诸比丘,即邪见。诸比丘,具足邪见的众生,身坏命终后,生于恶趣、恶道、堕处、地狱。"
"诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法,能使众生身坏命终后,生于善趣、天界,如同此法,诸比丘,即正见。诸比丘,具足正见的众生,身坏命终后,生于善趣、天界。"

306. ‘‘Micchādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, purisapuggalassa yañceva kāyakammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yañca vacīkammaṃ…pe… yañca manokammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yā ca cetanā yā ca patthanā yo ca paṇidhi ye ca saṅkhārā sabbe te dhammā aniṭṭhāya akantāya amanāpāya ahitāya dukkhāya saṃvattanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Diṭṭhi hissa [diṭṭhi hi (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)], bhikkhave, pāpikā. Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave , nimbabījaṃ vā kosātakibījaṃ vā tittakalābubījaṃ vā allāya pathaviyā [paṭhaviyā (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)] nikkhittaṃ yañceva pathavirasaṃ upādiyati yañca āporasaṃ upādiyati sabbaṃ taṃ tittakattāya kaṭukattāya asātattāya saṃvattati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Bījaṃ hissa [vījaṃ (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)], bhikkhave, pāpakaṃ. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, micchādiṭṭhikassa purisapuggalassa yañceva kāyakammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yañca vacīkammaṃ…pe… yañca manokammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yā ca cetanā yā ca patthanā yo ca paṇidhi ye ca saṅkhārā sabbe te dhammā aniṭṭhāya akantāya amanāpāya ahitāya dukkhāya saṃvattanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Diṭṭhi hissa, bhikkhave, pāpikā’’ti.

307. ‘‘Sammādiṭṭhikassa, bhikkhave, purisapuggalassa yañceva kāyakammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yañca vacīkammaṃ…pe… yañca manokammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yā ca cetanā yā ca patthanā yo ca paṇidhi ye ca saṅkhārā sabbe te dhammā iṭṭhāya kantāya manāpāya hitāya sukhāya saṃvattanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Diṭṭhi hissa, bhikkhave, bhaddikā. Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, ucchubījaṃ vā sālibījaṃ vā muddikābījaṃ vā allāya pathaviyā nikkhittaṃ yañceva pathavirasaṃ upādiyati yañca āporasaṃ upādiyati sabbaṃ taṃ madhurattāya sātattāya asecanakattāya saṃvattati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Bījaṃ hissa, bhikkhave, bhaddakaṃ. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, sammādiṭṭhikassa purisapuggalassa yañceva kāyakammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yañca vacīkammaṃ…pe… yañca manokammaṃ yathādiṭṭhi samattaṃ samādinnaṃ yā ca cetanā yā ca patthanā yo ca paṇidhi ye ca saṅkhārā sabbe te dhammā iṭṭhāya kantāya manāpāya hitāya sukhāya saṃvattanti. 3. Tatiyavaggo

308. ‘‘Ekapuggalo , bhikkhave, loke uppajjamāno uppajjati bahujanaahitāya bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussānaṃ. Katamo ekapuggalo? Micchādiṭṭhiko hoti viparītadassano. So bahujanaṃ saddhammā vuṭṭhāpetvā asaddhamme patiṭṭhāpeti. Ayaṃ kho, bhikkhave, ekapuggalo loke uppajjamāno uppajjati bahujanaahitāya bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussāna’’nti.

309. ‘‘Ekapuggalo, bhikkhave, loke uppajjamāno uppajjati bahujanahitāya bahujanasukhāya, bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṃ. Katamo ekapuggalo? Sammādiṭṭhiko hoti aviparītadassano. So bahujanaṃ asaddhammā vuṭṭhāpetvā saddhamme patiṭṭhāpeti. Ayaṃ kho, bhikkhave, ekapuggalo loke upapajjamāno uppajjati bahujanahitāya bahujanasukhāya, bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussāna’’nti.

310. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekadhammampi samanupassāmi yaṃ evaṃ mahāsāvajjaṃ yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, micchādiṭṭhi. Micchādiṭṭhiparamāni, bhikkhave, mahāsāvajjānī’’ti [vajjānīti (sī. syā. kaṃ.)].

311. ‘‘Nāhaṃ, bhikkhave, aññaṃ ekapuggalampi samanupassāmi yo evaṃ bahujanaahitāya paṭipanno bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussānaṃ yathayidaṃ, bhikkhave, makkhali moghapuriso. Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, nadīmukhe khippaṃ [khipaṃ (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)] uḍḍeyya [oḍḍeyya (sī.), ujjheyya (ka.)] bahūnaṃ macchānaṃ ahitāya dukkhāya anayāya byasanāya; evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave , makkhali moghapuriso manussakhippaṃ maññe loke uppanno bahūnaṃ sattānaṃ ahitāya dukkhāya anayāya byasanāyā’’ti.



306. "诸比丘,对于邪见的人,凡是依见而完全受持的身业、语业、意业,以及意志、愿望、志向、诸行,这一切法都导向不可意、不可爱、不可乐、无益、痛苦。为何如此?诸比丘,因为他的见解是恶的。诸比丘,譬如楝树种子、苦瓜种子或苦葫芦种子,种在湿润的土地里,吸收了地中的养分和水分,所结的果实都是苦的、辛辣的、不甜美的。为何如此?诸比丘,因为种子是恶的。同样地,诸比丘,对于邪见的人,凡是依见而完全受持的身业、语业、意业,以及意志、愿望、志向、诸行,这一切法都导向不可意、不可爱、不可乐、无益、痛苦。为何如此?诸比丘,因为他的见解是恶的。"
307. "诸比丘,对于正见的人,凡是依见而完全受持的身业、语业、意业,以及意志、愿望、志向、诸行,这一切法都导向可意、可爱、可乐、有益、快乐。为何如此?诸比丘,因为他的见解是善的。诸比丘,譬如甘蔗种子、稻米种子或葡萄种子,种在湿润的土地里,吸收了地中的养分和水分,所结的果实都是甜美的、可口的、令人愉悦的。为何如此?诸比丘,因为种子是善的。同样地,诸比丘,对于正见的人,凡是依见而完全受持的身业、语业、意业,以及意志、愿望、志向、诸行,这一切法都导向可意、可爱、可乐、有益、快乐。为何如此?诸比丘,因为他的见解是善的。"

第三品
308. "诸比丘,世间若有一人出现,则会给许多人带来不利、不乐,给众生带来无益、不利、痛苦,包括天人。这一人是谁?即邪见者,持颠倒见解者。他使许多人离开正法,安立于非法。诸比丘,这就是那个若出现于世间,会给许多人带来不利、不乐,给众生带来无益、不利、痛苦,包括天人的一人。"
309. "诸比丘,世间若有一人出现,则会给许多人带来利益、快乐,给众生带来有益、利益、安乐,包括天人。这一人是谁?即正见者,持不颠倒见解者。他使许多人离开非法,安立于正法。诸比丘,这就是那个若出现于世间,会给许多人带来利益、快乐,给众生带来有益、利益、安乐,包括天人的一人。"
310. "诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一法如此大过,如同此法,诸比丘,即邪见。诸比丘,邪见是最大的过失。"
311. "诸比丘,我不见有任何其他一人,如此给许多人带来不利,给众生带来不乐、无益、不利、痛苦,包括天人,如同此人,诸比丘,即末伽梨·瞿舍罗这个愚人。诸比丘,譬如有人在河口设置渔网,会给许多鱼带来不利、痛苦、灾难、祸害。同样地,诸比丘,末伽梨·瞿舍罗这个愚人,好比是出现在人间的渔网,给许多众生带来不利、痛苦、灾难、祸害。"

312. ‘‘Durakkhāte , bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo ca samādapeti [samādāpeti (?)] yañca samādapeti yo ca samādapito tathattāya paṭipajjati sabbe te bahuṃ apuññaṃ pasavanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Durakkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

313. ‘‘Svākkhāte , bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo ca samādapeti yañca samādapeti yo ca samādapito tathattāya paṭipajjati sabbe te bahuṃ puññaṃ pasavanti. Taṃ kissa hetu? Svākkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

314. ‘‘Durakkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye dāyakena mattā jānitabbā, no paṭiggāhakena. Taṃ kissa hetu? Durakkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

315. ‘‘Svākkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye paṭiggāhakena mattā jānitabbā, no dāyakena. Taṃ kissa hetu? Svākkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

316. ‘‘Durakkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo āraddhavīriyo so dukkhaṃ viharati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Durakkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

317. ‘‘Svākkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo kusīto so dukkhaṃ viharati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Svākkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

318. ‘‘Durakkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo kusīto so sukhaṃ viharati . Taṃ kissa hetu? Durakkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

319. ‘‘Svākkhāte, bhikkhave, dhammavinaye yo āraddhavīriyo so sukhaṃ viharati. Taṃ kissa hetu? Svākkhātattā, bhikkhave, dhammassā’’ti.

320. ‘‘Seyyathāpi , bhikkhave, appamattakopi gūtho duggandho hoti; evamevaṃ kho ahaṃ, bhikkhave, appamattakampi bhavaṃ na vaṇṇemi, antamaso accharāsaṅghātamattampi’’.

321. ‘‘Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, appamattakampi muttaṃ duggandhaṃ hoti… appamattakopi kheḷo duggandho hoti… appamattakopi pubbo duggandho hoti… appamattakampi lohitaṃ duggandhaṃ hoti; evamevaṃ kho ahaṃ, bhikkhave, appamattakampi bhavaṃ na vaṇṇemi, antamaso accharāsaṅghātamattampi’’.

4. Catutthavaggo

322. ‘‘Seyyathāpi , bhikkhave, appamattakaṃ imasmiṃ jambudīpe ārāmarāmaṇeyyakaṃ vanarāmaṇeyyakaṃ bhūmirāmaṇeyyakaṃ pokkharaṇirāmaṇeyyakaṃ; atha kho etadeva bahutaraṃ yadidaṃ ukkūlavikūlaṃ nadīviduggaṃ khāṇukaṇṭakaṭṭhānaṃ [khāṇukaṇḍakadhānaṃ (sī. pī.)] pabbatavisamaṃ; evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye thalajā, atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye odakā’’.

323. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye manussesu paccājāyanti; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye aññatra manussehi paccājāyanti.

… Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye majjhimesu janapadesu paccājāyanti; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye paccantimesu janapadesu paccājāyanti aviññātāresu milakkhesu [milakkhūsu (ka.)].

324. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye paññavanto ajaḷā aneḷamūgā paṭibalā subhāsitadubbhāsitassa atthamaññātuṃ; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye duppaññā jaḷā eḷamūgā na paṭibalā subhāsitadubbhāsitassa atthamaññātuṃ.

325. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye ariyena paññācakkhunā samannāgatā; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye avijjāgatā sammūḷhā.

326. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye labhanti tathāgataṃ dassanāya; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye na labhanti tathāgataṃ dassanāya.

327. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye labhanti tathāgatappaveditaṃ dhammavinayaṃ savanāya; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye na labhanti tathāgatappaveditaṃ dhammavinayaṃ savanāya.

328. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye sutvā dhammaṃ dhārenti; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye sutvā dhammaṃ na dhārenti.

329. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye dhātānaṃ [dhatānaṃ (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)] dhammānaṃ atthaṃ upaparikkhanti; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye dhātānaṃ dhammānaṃ atthaṃ na upaparikkhanti.

330. … Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye atthamaññāya dhammamaññāya dhammānudhammaṃ paṭipajjanti; atha kho eteva sattā bahutarā ye atthamaññāya dhammamaññāya dhammānudhammaṃ na paṭipajjanti.



312. "诸比丘,在说得不好的法律中,无论是劝导者、被劝导者,还是依照所劝导而实践者,他们都会积累许多罪过。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得不好。"
313. "诸比丘,在说得好的法律中,无论是劝导者、被劝导者,还是依照所劝导而实践者,他们都会积累许多功德。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得好。"
314. "诸比丘,在说得不好的法律中,应当了解施主的程度,而不是受施者的程度。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得不好。"
315. "诸比丘,在说得好的法律中,应当了解受施者的程度,而不是施主的程度。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得好。"
316. "诸比丘,在说得不好的法律中,精进者住于痛苦。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得不好。"
317. "诸比丘,在说得好的法律中,懈怠者住于痛苦。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得好。"
318. "诸比丘,在说得不好的法律中,懈怠者住于快乐。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得不好。"
319. "诸比丘,在说得好的法律中,精进者住于快乐。为何如此?诸比丘,因为法被说得好。"
320. "诸比丘,就像即使是少量的粪便也有恶臭;同样地,诸比丘,我不赞叹哪怕是极短暂的生存,即使只是弹指之间。"
321. "诸比丘,就像即使是少量的尿液也有恶臭...即使是少量的唾液也有恶臭...即使是少量的脓液也有恶臭...即使是少量的血液也有恶臭;同样地,诸比丘,我不赞叹哪怕是极短暂的生存,   使只是弹指之间。"

第四品
322. "诸比丘,就像在这瞻部洲(印度)中,园林的美景、森林的美景、土地的美景、莲池的美景是很少的;而更多的是陡峭的河岸、河流的险处、树桩和荆棘丛生之地、山岳的险峻之处。同样地,诸比丘,生于陆地的众生很少,而生于水中的众生更多。"
323. "...同样地,诸比丘,转生为人的众生很少,而转生为非人的众生更多。"
"...同样地,诸比丘,转生在中土的众生很少,而转生在边地、未开化的蛮族中的众生更多。"
324. "...同样地,诸比丘,有智慧、不愚钝、不哑不聋、能够理解善说恶说之义的众生很少,而愚钝、哑聋、不能理解善说恶说之义的众生更多。"
325. "...同样地,诸比丘,具有圣者慧眼的众生很少,而无明、愚痴的众生更多。"
326. "...同样地,诸比丘,得以见到如来的众生很少,而不得见到如来的众生更多。"
327. "...同样地,诸比丘,得以听闻如来所说法律的众生很少,而不得听闻如来所说法律的众生更多。"
